Our Story
We would like to thank you again for your previous contributions to our non-profit organization. Members of our team have continued to be passionate about providing students with environments that facilitate learning. However, we have decided to change directions with the non-profit this year. As May 2022 comes to a close, we are reminded of a very important day—the one-year anniversary of Lucas’s brain surgery.
“At four years old, my son was diagnosed with epilepsy. The night started just like any other. I kissed my daughter goodnight and my son lay next to me as he slept. I was later awoken by what I believed was the dog’s scratching. But once I opened my eyes, I saw my four-year-old son with his eyes rolled back in his head, convulsing and unable to breathe. I yelled for my husband to wake up, and we dialed 911. We all rushed to the hospital in a panic. This is where Lucas’s journey with epilepsy began. – Linda
