A Journey to Educate for Life

Welcome

A Journey to Educate for Life ( AJ2E4L) is a non-profit founded by the Herron and the Caplan family in 2018. We aim to provide a safe and comfortable environment for students and teachers around the world, who are not equipped to deliver this end goal themselves.

All of us at AJ2E4L (officers, advisors, and volunteers) have a deep passion and are committed to helping as many schools as possible around the world. We believe that everyone gaining in education should do so in a well-operated facility.

Our Mission

Maximize abilities for schools who need the assistance to positively reconstruct their environmental situation.

Meet Our Team

Linda Herron

Founder

I’m a mother of two who is an owner of a security company (Guardian Hawk Security). As a third generation in the security industry, I have always felt the desire to keep people safe and protected. My daughter, who is 16, is determined and driven in her education. She also volunteers to help others who are less fortunate. My 11-year-old son, who has learning disabilities and epilepsy never falters. He keeps pushing on and has the most generous of hearts.
They have been an inspiration. I do my best to keep them safe and happy, but they taught me there is an additional missing piece of the puzzle. Having helped other charitable organizations with donations of money and time, I felt a need to make it a family journey. I realized the things I desire for my own children, I want for others. I want to help all children feel safe in their educational environment and give schools in less fortunate areas the educational tools they need.

Please join us.

My name is Lucas, and I am 15 years old. I was 4 when I had my first seizure. After a dozen neurologists and countless medications, I still had breakthrough seizures. In eighth grade, I went to Spain to see an excellent neurologist. He tested me again (on my second visit) on other medications (all failed) to see if we could get my seizures under control. Unfortunately, the final option to help was brain surgery. My parents and I were terrified. Later on, my mom said she was looking for an excellent neurosurgeon, and there was one that my neurologist knew.

Peter Chapman
Team Coordinator
My name is Peter, and I am 16. I want to join A Journey To Educate for Life (AJ2E4L) to help epileptic people Because I have a friend named Lucas that had epilepsy which I know is a hard thing to go through. With this knowledge, I want to help other kids that are struggling with epilepsy. Especially people that cannot afford to get good doctors to help them. I’m trying to help raise $50,000 to help those that need the money for surgery and medicines. These are some of the many reasons I want to help.
Alexa Herron

Advisor

I am a sixteen year old girl with a strong passion of helping children around the world. I have helped schools in Belize, Mexico, and Africa as a volunteer. It has been a goal of mine to start my own organization to help more schools and give others an ability to be educated in a safe environment.
